Student Visa Renewal Process Now Handled by School Administrators

Galileo Global Education is pleased to collaborate with the Prefecture de Police in Paris, in an effort to simplify the visa renewal process for students.

International students studying in Paris for longer than one year must renew their visas annually through the Préfecture de Police.  Typically, students are responsible for this process themselves, which can be complicated as students are required to appear in person and present a long list of documents.  From now on, school administrators will now assume this role and act as the liaison between its students and the Préfecture, eliminating the need for students to attend an appointment to renew in person.

In turn, students must present the required documents to their school administrator several months before the expiration of their visa.  In order to benefit from this service, students must be in good academic and financial standing, and have registered for the following year.
